Mentorship
Providing mentoring is a powerful and personal development tool. Our programme provides the avenue for young women who wish to use our services to identify their career goals through career assessment and by participating in engaging sessions, led by experts in enterprise. Please request information if you are interested in joining the programme. We provide mentorship in starting a business and supporting our clients in their personal development.

Life-skills
Programme
The Career Practice NPC’s Personal Effectiveness and Employability Skills Training (PEES) is intended to be our flagship programme.
An initiative of Julia Falken providing a series of workshops offering a combination of life-skills and employability skills. The PEES training rewards the achievement of young people who take part in a variety of activities that develop personal, key and employability skills. We believe that learning can take place outside the classroom and we consider part time work as evidence towards this training. Each client will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Space
There are many misconceptions about people living in poverty, particularly when it comes to how they became poor and why they stay poor. Many think the individuals are to blame, but the economic system makes it extremely difficult for some people to live above the poverty line. Fortunately, there are numerous career and volunteer opportunities for those who want to help others break free from the poverty trap. This space addresses many of these
opportunities whilst exploring who is most affected by poverty and why it’s vital they receive help. An opportunity for organisations to work alongside The Career Practice in delivering associated services to young women going through hardship.
